Biographie

Corinne Lanssens
Ballet Teacher & Co-Director – Jude Mikhalev Ballet Academy

Corinne Lanssens trained at the Conservatoire National de Région de Toulouse, the Paris Opera Ballet School, and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. At 18, she joined the Jeune Ballet de France, followed by engagements with Ballet du Nord, Théâtre National de Bern, and Théâtre National de Graz, performing works by Balanchine, Spoerli, Van Manen, and Petipa.

In 1993, she joined the Ballet de l’Opéra National de Bordeaux, where she danced for over 20 years under the direction of Paolo Bortoluzzi, Éric Vuan, and Charles Jude. Her repertoire included major classical and contemporary works, from Swan Lake, Giselle, and Don Quixote to pieces by Balanchine, Antony Tudor, Serge Lifar, Paul Taylor, and Carolyn Carlson. She toured internationally with the company until retiring from the stage in 2013.

A certified ballet teacher since 2016, she is now co-director of the Jude Mikhalev Ballet Academy, teaching both professional and leisure programs.
